How would you describe your typical day at OGenie?

From coding to having discussions with my colleagues about ways to solve problems, I am responsible for ensuring that our users continue to enjoy a seamless experience. I also give time to learning by watching tutorials on YouTube or reading blogs written by industry experts.
 

What's the best part of being a Genieus?

There are many reasons for it to be possible to count. My favourites include the culture here and the freedom to make mistakes, learn, and execute better.

How do you stay updated on the latest technologies and trends?

There are lots of resources available to get tech updates. I mostly listen to podcasts, watch videos on YouTube about the topic that I want to learn, and occasionally join webinars.
 

Which programming language do you think will be in demand in 2021?

The usual most-loved ones will continue to grow in popularity like Rust, Python, Kotlin, and more. In my opinion, most growth will be seen in TypeScript and Go with more developers using it.

Do you code in your spare time like to contribute to open source?

Coding is life. I am fortunate to work on what I love, and that's AI. During my free time too, I like working on projects that move me forward career-wise.
 

What's the source of motivation for you?

I love learning new things and growing as a person. The drive to solve problems is also something that keeps me going.
